The Environmental Science Graduate Program (ESGP) is a campus-wide program, with participation by faculty from the Colleges of Biological Sciences; Dentistry; Engineering; Food, Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences; Human Ecology; Mathematical and Physical Sciences; Medicine and Public Health; Social and Behavioral Sciences; and Veterinary Medicine. The program began in 1991. Over 80 faculty members from 19Departments and Schools on campus are currently affiliated with the ESGP. The program is part of the Graduate School and is administered by a Director. All decisions on student and faculty admission and curricula are made by the elected Graduate Studies Committee. The ESGP Director is Dr. Karen Mancl, mancl.1@osu.edu The Graduate Studies Committee Chair is Dr. Richard Moore (moore.11@osu.edu) The Graduate Studies Committee is composed of: Dr. Virginie Bouchard, bouchard.8@osu.edu Dr. Hal Walker, walker.455@osu.edu Dr. Bryan Mark, mark.9@osu.edu Dr. Heather Allen, allen.697@osu.edu Dr. Roman Lanno, lanno.1@osu.edu The Student Representative is Marcy Card, card.22@osu.edu Policies for the ESGP are made by the graduate faculty in Environmental Science, an interdisciplinary body of professionals in several academic units throughout the university. Administrative responsibility for academic aspects of the operation of the program rests with the Graduate Studies Committee, which is elected by the graduate faculty and students and performs its responsibilities as assigned by the Graduate School's Council on Research and Graduate Studies and by the graduate faculty in Environmental Science.
