Lourdes Arrueta is a Master student at the Environmental Sciences Graduate Program (ESGP) at the Ohio State University, where she is working on assessing the participatory modeling of a large FEWS project in order to improve the accuracy of the model, increase the legitimacy of the process and promote social learning among the participants. Born and raised in La Paz, Bolivia until she was 17. Before moving to OSU, she lived in Honduras for four years to do her undergraduate in Environmental Sciences at Zamorano University. She enjoys traveling, swimming, diving, and playing chess.
