Commander Pattama Ulrich is an active duty Senior Nurse Officer serving in the United States Public Health Service. She is  studying nature-based/inspired/shared (engineering) solutions to advance her knowledge and skills in ecological health equilibrium. She is using field-research and modeling techniques, particularly Quantitative Microbial Risk Assessment (QMRA), to learn and test the solutions in Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks (Metro Parks) and food value chain as major themes in her dissertation research activities in Ethiopia.
