Policies for the ESGP are made by the graduate faculty in Environmental Sciences, an interdisciplinary body of professionals in several academic units throughout the university. Administrative responsibility for academic aspects of the operation of the program rests with the Graduate Studies Committee, which is elected by the graduate faculty and students and performs its responsibilities as assigned by the Graduate School's Council on Research and Graduate Studies and by the graduate faculty in Environmental Sciences. ESGP also receives input from two graduate student representatives.
