Department of African American and African Studies Community Extension Center honors Professor Darryl Hood as an Engaged Scholar Fellow for Fall 2019

D Hood

The Department of African American and African Studies Community Extension Center (CEC) is located at 905 Mount Vernon Avenue on the near eastside of Columbus. It is a historically Black neighborhood that while once rich in culture and industry is now under-resourced and many of its residents struggle with the economic and social realities of poverty. The AAASCEC hopes to bring to the center a wide array of academic engagement, research, and other services from across the University and through partnership with organizations outside of the University.
