Kendall Byrd, a PhD student in ESGP and a member of Dr. Jiyoung Lee's lab in the College of Public Health, recently competed in and received the grand prize for the U.S. Entrepreneurship Competition (USEC) at Ohio Wesleyan University. This competition is for student and professional entrepreneurs seeking to grow their startups. Kendall presented his company, WaterWise Technologies, which is an innovative water treatment company committed to environmental sustainability via revolutionizing the industry with cutting-edge, non-chemical solutions that ensure safe and sustainable water resources for communities worldwide. The grand prize he received is a $100,000 investment in WaterWise Technologies. Congratulations Kendall!
