Jo Kingsbury awarded scholarship by International Association of Wildland Fire (IAWF)

Jo Kingsbury has been awarded the prestigious 2018 International Association of Wildland Fire (IAWF) PhD Scholarship for the research she is completing in Bolivia studying fire-grazing-flooding interactions. Only a single award is made to a PhD student each year and applicants are attracted from all over the world, including many influential and successful programs studying wildland fire. Ms. Kingsbury is co-supervised by Dr. Christopher Tonra and Dr. G. Mattew Davies, who hold respective appointments in Avian Wildlife Ecology and Soil and Plant Community through the School of Environmental and Natural Resources.
