Molly Mills has been named recipient of the 2019 ENGIE-Axium Scholarship Award. The award recognizes her commitment to working or studying in areas of energy or sustainability. 

Molly Mills is a current PhD student in the Environmental Science Graduate Program with a specialiaztion in Environmental Health Program. She is from Cleveland, Ohio, but attended Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA. In 2018 she graduated with a B.S. in Biology. Past research has included several projects analyzing mosquitoes and ticks as vectors for disease while in Erie, as well as a summer spent at OSU completeing a Microbiology research project, utilizing CRISPR in E. Coli. She works with Dr. Jiyoung Lee and her research will revolve around the effects of microbial contaminants on human health.
